Dry Rack Storage- What are you all paying for dry rack storage at your marina?

What is everyone paying to keep their boats in a dry rack at the local marinas?  We are shopping right now and the prices appear to differ throughout the coast.

Check out Aquamarina Hidden Harbour in Pompano Beach. They have a quote request at www.Ilovemymarina.com. The staff down there is great!
I thank everybody for the information in this discussion. Saw it yesterday looking at the site, and it was very helpful to me. I have a 23' boat and live in Pompano. I have been keeping my boat on a trailer for the last year, but after seeing some of the prices posted here, I decided to give it another shot and see if I could afford storing it. As the one who started the discussion said, prices are all over the place! I called Hidden Harbour and they want about $400 bucks a month. I called Hideaway and they will store my boat for $200 bucks a month. Big difference in price! The Dania Beach marinas are about $200-$225 a month for my sized boat too if I want to go further South.
Thanks for all the tips!
I just moved from Harbour Towne to American Offshore. Harbour Towne is a great Marina with all the amenities but just got to expensive. I was at American Offdhore before so I know it well, and it's a nice place. It has it's drawbacks but saved me lots of money per year for dry storage.
Where on the coast do you want to store your boat? That makes a big difference. Many marinas, especially dry rack marinas are cutting deals on slip prices during these economic times. They are offering to match rates that other marinas offer...even if they are quite a bit lower then their printed prices.
Some of the Broward dry stack marinas that are situated a little more inland, such as American Offshore, Thunderboat Marina, Harbor 1 and the Dania Beach Boat Club are offering some great deals right now....
A marina such as Harbour Towne, which enjoys a premier location, is fully occupied and has a great assembly of Marine Services on site can afford to hold it's price.
Contact Brenda at AlaquaProfessionalGroup.com if you would like any information ......Brenda@apg20.com
Hi Jesse......I left a post on your page too....I didn't see this one.
By the way....Is your boat over height and width? That would make a difference.

One of the marinas offering the best prices right now in S. Florida is Thunderboat Marina in Dania. They are in the process of renovating, and they are being VERY aggressive price-wise. Contact Michael Shanley....he is on this site too. They just re-did their entire service dep't over there.
Also, Hideaway Marina in Pompano is offering to best all prices in that area as well. Speak to Joe Pasuit, who has been in charge of service for over twenty years there. Great Guy. He is also on this site.
But, I think that all in all, Thunderboat Marina will be hard to beat at this time. Not too far from Miami, or Ft Lauderdale.
Both these above mentioned Marinas are now under new management....and both are really trying hard to please. It all depends on your preferred location.
Keep in touch!
Just understand you have a lot of boat there. You are over-height and over-width. Not the easiest or least expensive proportions to dry-store at any marina.

Check out the two marinas I mentioned....if no go for any reason, let me know. I do have a third and fourth suggestion.
I know that marina well. That is a wet slip marina......I didn't know you would be interested in that. Very well run marina! Nice area. Gary Stoye runs that Marina....Ask for him!
In Broward Cty on the Dania Cut Off Canal. Harbour Towne approx $13.00 per foot plus tax and further up the canal is American Offshore Marnie at approx $10.00 per foot plus tax.
American Offshore Marina is offering great deals right now - 1 month free with an annual contract and rates starting at $8/ft at the Thunderboat location. Also check out the new service center.
Another Marina that is sometimes forgotten is Riverfront Marina in Downtown Ft. Lauderdale. For boats under 22' they are charging $10.00 a ft.,plus tax.....and larger boats go for around $13.50 a ft. for standard measurements.
Cool older marina with a nice restaurant/bar on site.
For outdoor storage there is always Dusky Boat Storage. They're at $5.25 per foot, which includes use of ramp and washdown, but it isn't a marina by any means. You're getting what you pay for.
Here is another dry-stack marina to add to the mix. I was just there this morning. The Port marina on 17th street in Ft Lauderdale. A fairly new marina with the automated lift crane system. They have a few slips available to rent for boats in the 40' to 42' range, low to standard height, for $500-$600 a month. A very good deal for that size boat especially if you want to store a lower profile go-fast boat.
